Why is it important that my hair care is all natural?
Harmful and toxic chemicals, such as parabens and sulphates, wreak havoc on your hair and scalp. This is why we choose to exclude these ingredients in our products.
What is a Sulphate?
Sulphates, most commonly Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS), are harsh cleansing agents (surfactants) found in most hair care products and toothpastes. They are known irritants that can strip the hair of colour and natural oils.
What is a paraben?
Parabens are the most commonly used preservatives in personal care and hair care products, most commonly found as one of its chemical names, Alkyl Hydroxy Benzoate. We choose to use alternative natural-based preservatives in all of our products to ensure that your hair is in tip top shape.
What is a petrochemical?
Petrochemicals are by-products of crude oil and are added to hair care products as moisturisers, styling agents and various hair protectants. While petrochemicals have been used in hair care for many years, we now know that they are harmful to the environment.
Why are we vegan?
We learnt a long time ago that animal ingredients are not necessary to create amazing products, so there is no reason for us to hurt any sweet animals to do our thing.
Why don’t we test on animals?
There is absolutely no need for us to test on animals and we firmly believe that testing on animals is wrong – nor do we let other companies test on our behalf. We have found a much more effective method of testing and have been using our friendly staff members to perfect our formulations for years.
Why is it important that we manufacture in Australia?
Buying Australian made is good for all of us. Not only does it create more jobs and boost our economy, it also improves the Australian standard of living. As our ability to purchase from all over the globe increases it is important for us to support local businesses.
Is our packaging recyclable?
YES! Our packaging is 100% recyclable, we use food grade Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) and Polypropylene (PP) in our bottles. We are an eco-friendly company that is continually researching alternative ways to improve environmental sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint.
